Our year round fishery consistently produces impressive numbers of Sailfish and Marlin, Mahi-mahi and Yellowfin Tuna are also a very common catch.

Fishing hours from 7:00am-5:pm, on average fishing grounds are at about 15-20 miles offshore.

GRINGO II is always stocked with cold drinks, fresh fruit and a great variety of options for hot lunches aboard, if you happen to catch Mahi-mahi or Tuna before lunch our mates will cook it for you, doesn't get any fresher than that!

Running into other types of wildlife isn't uncommon, expect to see an abundance of turtles, manta rays, big spinner dolphin pods, bottle nosed dolphins, birds and even the occasional whale will make an appearance! Combine that with typically flat calm seas, and Guatemala is the ideal offshore fishing destination.
